Box Jump

I started jumping a tire that was probably 10 inches... Moved a little higher, and a little higher...

I WANT TO SEE WHAT MY BODY CAN DO!

HITTING A PERSONAL RECORD IS A GOOD FEELING!

CrossFit Hawaii

I was able to visit Hawaii over Christmas with my family. Amazing. Having just started crossfit, again. I knew that going out of town might present a challenge. WHENEVER IN DOUGHT ASK! I shared my concerns with my coaches who instantly came up with a solution. CROSSFIT ON VACATION! There are literally crossfit boxes around the globe. So I looked one up! Perfect!

They were extremely kind and accommodating!

WELCOME TO THE CROSSFIT WORLD

I honestly feel if you crossfit, at any level, you have a connection with anyone else who crossfits. It's a world wide community of helping each other be there best. Something you don't find in a normal gym... just say'n. I'm thankful to be apart of crossfit, no matter what level i'm on. (level I, and moving on up!)

WOD jan 31

I have come to embrace the ups and downs to MY CROSSFIT LIFE... The past week croup took our family out! At one point we were all laying on the couch hacking, farting, belching... just breathing in each others sickliness. I even had to take my littlest man cub into the ER around 1:00 AM to get a breathing treatment. Yes, it was sad. Sad the little thing couldn't breath very well, and sad I had to miss crossfit the next morning. What? No, i'm not making an excuse! I actually did set my alarm for 4:30AM to try and make it to my 5:00AM class, but my body said "NOPE".

But it's okay. As long as you get right back up, and go when able. There really are no excuses to not keep on going.

This mornings WOD:

Strength/Skill- Pistols and Pistol Progressions

20min. AMRAP of:

200m Run

10 Wallball(18/14)

15 Spider-Man Push-ups

I was able to complete 7 rounds. 14lb wallball, Spiderman Pushup modification: kept foot on floor when bringing it up to elbow.

I am, by no means a pro crossfitter. With my skill level I would be considered a beginner, or Level I. You have to start somewhere. As long as you keep going, YOU WILL GET BETTER!
